  • Mission

    Cuyahoga Valley National Park's mission statement pulls key language from the park purpose set by the law the created the park in 1974:

    To preserve and protect for public use and enjoyment the historic, scenic, natural, and recreational values of the Cuyahoga River Valley, to maintain the open space necessary for the urban environment, and to provide for the recreational and educational needs of the visiting public.

    About Us

    Cuyahoga Valley National Park's Volunteer Program is co-managed by the National Park Service and the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

    Depending on the volunteer position, volunteers will work with staff from National Park Service, the Conservancy, Cuyahoga Valley Countryside Conservancy and Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
