About Us

The Missoula International Airport serves over 575,000 travelers from all over the world and thousands of visitors every year.

Four commercial airlines (Alaska, Allegiant, Delta, & United) have operations at MSO. The Airport is also home to hundreds of general aviation aircraft, two Fixed Based operators: Neptune/Northstar and Minuteman, the Museum of Mountain Flying, the famous Smokejumpers, and serves as the hub of the largest aerial fire fighting depot in the U.S.

The Airport is owed and operated by the Missoula County Airport Authority. The Airport's first priority is the safety of our passengers. Our goal is to always provide superior customer service in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In our quest to serve our travelers, visitors, and the community, we are developing a Volunteer Ambassador program. The program will be staffed by helpful, friendly volunteers who will often be the first point of contact for an individual or group arriving or departing the Airport. Due to the large numbers of international visitors, the Volunteer Ambassador will often times have the opportunity to be a positive representative for our state and our country.
