Consulate General of the Republic of Korea

Seattle, WA

About Us

Located in Seattle, our consulate covers five Northwestern states: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.

The Consulate works vigorously in various fields to promote Korea-US relations. We encourage human exchanges between the two countries, promoting the mutual understanding and friendship between our citizens.

Further, we promote trade and investment between the U.S. and Korea. Korea signed a free trade agreement with the United States in June of 2007 and we are waiting for the final approval from the respective legislatures in both Seoul and Washington, DC. The Korea-US (KORUS) Free Trade Agreement will provide a unique opportunity for the Korean- American community in the United States.

We also offer various services to Koreans, Korean-Americans, and other nations who wish to visit Korea.
