Bourne Archives

We are a Town archives, preserving and storing the Town's historical documents, photographs, videos, recordings, etc. We serve both local residents, as well as researchers and genealogists. We are looking for volunteers to fill two jobs: archives director and photo archivist.

The position of director requires organizational skills, leadership ability and knowledge of Microsoft Office Access to maintain the existing database.

The position of photo archivist requires the ability to organize and maintain a large collection of photographic materials. This includes scanning all incoming photographs into our searchable database.

Training will be provided in all the technical skills and education about archives and how our archives operates.
