    On Saturday, September 28, 2019, join Stanislaus River Parks in celebrating National Public Lands Day, the country's largest single-day volunteer effort for America’s public lands

    About Us

    Escalon, California - Stanislaus River Parks will celebrate National Public Lands Day on Sept. 28th by waiving fees for its day-use recreation areas and volunteers who participate in a number of park improvement projects.

    The event will begin at 8 a.m. and the work will wrap up at 2 p.m. Project volunteers will participate in tasks that include: planting trees, spreading wildflower seeds and woodchips on trails/campsites, painting barbeque grills, and litter pick up. Lunch will be provided at noon for volunteers who participate in the event.

    Volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear the appropriate work attire, such as closed-toe shoes, long pants and shirts to shield from the elements. All protective equipment, such as gloves and safety glasses will be provided. Snacks and lunch will be provided to all volunteers.
