The Excellence Center in Palestine and Germany

Established in June 2011 to provide educational, cultural, social and community services to local Palestinians and international participants, The Excellence Center in Palestine for Education and Training later developed its Engage in Palestine branch: a hub dedicated to language learning and specialist programmes. 

Located in the heart of Hebron, West Bank on Ein Sara street, the area is under the supervision of the Palestinian Authority and in an excellent centralised location, with many restaurants, supermarkets, banks and municipal and educational organisations (amongst more) only a stone’s throw away. 

By offering volunteer and internship programmes on topics such as human rights, our courses are designed to make a lasting impact on both international and Palestinian participants’ lives. 

Volunteer and Internship Programs

Initially developed for undergraduates and graduates of Middle Eastern, Arabic and political studies, our programmes have now expanded to include anyone interested in learning more about Palestinian culture and history. Whether you’re a native or non-native English speaker, interested in human aid, women’s rights or case studies on Palestine and Israel, The Excellence Center is happy to host any participant who is over the age of 18 and willing to join us from as little as one week.

The Excellence Center in Europe in Germany

The ongoing success of the Excellence Center has pushed us to continue our work in Germany, specifically in the city of Halle. The Excellence Center in Germany started to offer educational and community programs to both locals and internationals in 2018. Both Centers have had a great impact on refugees, children, migrants and members of local communities as well as on the internationals who come from different countries and backgrounds.

At The Excellence Center, we foster opportunities for exchange and many Palestinian participants relish the chances to engage with the international community (of which we’ve had 1000+ from over 20 different countries). Serving as a convenient space for meetings, our programmes provide multiple meaningful experiences in interacting with and supporting Palestinians, including those in the refugee camps in and around Hebron. 

Flexible Booking

At The Excellence Center, we understand that things change. As such, our programmes are incredibly flexible in case you need to alter travel plans or just simply have a change of heart. As programs begin at the center year-round (with flexible start and end dates), you decide your arrival.

Furthermore, you’re able to change your start date entirely free of charge if requested at least two weeks beforehand.
