    EveryMind is at an exciting moment of growth as it works to diversify its funding base and expand philanthropic support. The Director, Individual & Corporate Giving will play a critical role in strengthening contributed revenue, with a focus on building a robust pipeline of individual donors and corporate partners. This leader will refine systems for donor engagement, deepen relationships across giving segments, and help scale fundraising strategies to support long-term organizational impact.

    Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, the Director will oversee a small team and serve as a key partner across advancement, marketing, and institutional giving. This is an opportunity for a highly relational and execution-oriented fundraiser who thrives on building authentic connections, translating strategy into action, and fostering a culture of philanthropy. The Director will manage and mentor two direct reports and must bring strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Individual Giving Strategy & Execution

    • Build, expand a donor pipeline through prospect identification, research, and engagement
    • Design and implement moves management systems across the full donor lifecycle
    • Manage a portfolio of donors, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts

    Corporate Giving & Partnerships

    • Grow, manage corporate partnerships, including sponsorships and strategic collaborations
    • Cultivate relationships to increase financial support and community engagement
    • Identify and pursue new corporate opportunities aligned with mission and brand

    Donor Engagement & Communications

    • Develop compelling, donor-centered communications and engagement strategies
    • Partner with marketing to align messaging, storytelling, and campaigns
    • Strengthen stewardship practices to deepen long-term donor relationships

    Team Leadership & Collaboration

    • Mentor and support staff in fundraising strategy and execution
    • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive team culture
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to align fundraising with organizational priorities

    Experience, Skills, and Qualities

    • Commitment to EveryMind’s mission to advance mental health and ensure access to care for all.
    • 7+ years of progressive fundraising experience, with emphasis on individual giving
    • Demonstrated success building donor pipelines and managing moves management systems
    • Proven ability to cultivate, solicit, and close gifts
    • Experience engaging donors across multiple giving levels and segments
    • Familiarity with corporate giving or partnership development
    • Strong relationship-building skills with donors, colleagues, and partners
    • Experience managing and mentoring staff
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities
    • Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams
    • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and access

    Compensation

    Salary range of $125,000 – $135,000, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement contributions, and generous paid time off.

    Working Location

    Hybrid role based in the Washington, DC Metro Area, with regular attendance at events and meetings across the region, including occasional evenings and weekends.
