Chief of Institutional Advancement

The Centers seeks a strategic and relationship-driven Chief of Institutional Advancement to lead philanthropic growth and strengthen the organization's engagement across Northeast Ohio. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Chief will lead an integrated advancement function encompassing fundraising, marketing and communications, community relations, government affairs, and external engagement. A key priority will be expanding The Centers' individual major gifts program while deepening relationships with foundations, corporations, government partners, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand and strengthen the individual major gifts program
• Develop strategies to grow philanthropic support for existing and new programs
• Lead fundraising, marketing and communications, community relations, and external affairs
• Cultivate relationships with donors, foundations, corporations, public officials, and community partners
• Partner with the CEO, Board, and senior leadership to advance organizational priorities

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and successful execution of fundraising and external relations efforts
• Direct experience leading individual major gifts fundraising
• Strong relationship-building skills with donors, Board members, and community and institutional partners
• Experience providing strategic leadership to an advancement team
• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $185,000–$210,000.
