    Position Overview

    We are seeking a full-time ESL Teacher for Kindergarten through 5th Grade at Escuela La Esperanza. This is a full-time, permanent position. The primary school has two sections per grade, with approximately 25 students per class.

    The selected candidate will report directly to the Education Department and collaborate closely with the Education Team and other departments as needed.

    Schedule

    Monday to Friday, 07:45 – 17:00

    ey Responsibilities

    • Support and deliver English lessons for students from Kindergarten to 5th Grade
    • Support and deliver tutoring and clubs.
    • Assist in planning engaging, level-appropriate activities (beginner level learners)
    • Monitor and support student progress using a variety of assessment methods
    • Contribute to a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
    • Produce clear and detailed progress reports
    • Maintain clear records of student performance at all times.
    • Support students’ academic, personal, and social development

    Requirements

    • Background in Education, English, or related field (in progress or completed)
    • Experience working with children (preferred)
    • Strong English proficiency
    • Ability to commit full-time through November
    • Availability to be based in Guatemala immediately
