Role Overview
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to support our digital marketing efforts, with a primary focus on Google Ads and Meta Ads. The intern will assist with planning, creating, monitoring, and improving advertising campaigns that support a variety of organizational goals. Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with the organization’s Executive Director to understand and manage our marketing efforts.
- Research new strategies and functionality opportunities not currently utilized in our existing campaigns.
- Build and monitor campaigns in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, including targeting, budgets, and creative variations.
- Research and write original ad copy and develop or coordinate graphics and other campaign assets using Canva.
- Track results, test alternatives, and recommend changes based on conversion and engagement data.
- Share concise performance updates and next steps weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with both Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, gained through coursework, internships, volunteer work, or independent projects.
- Ability to interpret campaign metrics and use results to improve targeting, messaging, and performance.
- Strong writing, creative judgment, and independent problem-solving skills.
What You'll Gain
- Hands-on experience developing and managing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
- Opportunities to apply classroom knowledge to real-world marketing initiatives.
- Practical experience in campaign strategy, performance analysis, and optimization.
- Opportunities to strengthen creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Portfolio-worthy projects with measurable results.
- Experience contributing to the growth and impact of a mission-driven nonprofit organization.
Our Approach
We value thoughtful strategy, original work, and genuine stories of impact. AI may support the work, but it should not replace independent research, judgment, or creative thinking.
