We are offering an exciting opportunity for a financial internship at one of our trusted financial partners in Agrigento, Sicily. This internship is ideal for students or graduates passionate about finance, accounting, and tax consulting. You will gain hands-on experience, applying your theoretical knowledge to real-world financial scenarios while working closely with financial experts.

Key responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis and Cost Optimization: You will assist with financial analysis and cost optimization efforts, including reviewing financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement).

You will gather and assess information from these statements, looking for areas of improvement for clients.

• Collaboration and Client Interaction: You will collaborate with team members and attend meetings with clients, improving your communication skills within the team and externally. In the beginning, you will primarily listen and observe, but as you grow in the role, you will actively contribute to the development of reports for internal and external use.
• Assisting with Administrative Control Audits: You will assist with administrative control audits to ensure compliance with company policies and identify opportunities for improvement. As this will be your first exposure to audit assurance, you will start by observing and learning before actively contributing to the improvement process.
• Supporting Financial Record Management: You will support team members in managing financial records and transactions. You will also help prepare cost and organizational reports. After assisting with these tasks, you will contribute to decision-making based on the gathered information.
• Cost Optimization for Clients: One of your key assignments will be identifying opportunities for cost optimization for clients using the data gathered by you and your team members.

Internship requirements:

• You must be eligible for the Erasmus+ program
• You are able to join us in Agrigento for at least 4 months
• You have at least a B1 level in English
