    Description

    Overview

    The Education Pioneers Impact Fellowship provides talented high-potential leaders an opportunity to engage with critical challenges in the education sector, addressing systemic inequities and helping to close the opportunity gap. We recruit candidates with skills in data analysis, strategy, operations, and project management to partner with leading K-12 school districts, charter schools, and other education organizations, where they will lead critical long-term, systems-level projects. EP Fellows also receive leadership development programming and support through a cohort-based learning model.

    High-Impact Work Experience

    • 10-month placement on a mission-critical project aligned with your professional background and skills
    • Supervision and management by an experienced leader
    • $58,000 stipend ($70,000 annualized; before taxes, other withholdings, and benefits)
    • Program start date: September / October 2026

    Leadership Development

    • Exposure to social impact leaders who address ongoing challenges and opportunities in the education sector
    • Engage in in-person learning experiences that support leadership development in advancement of educational equity
    • Participate in communities of practice that deepen relationships and develop skills and perspectives necessary for short and long-term impact

    Alumni Network

    • Lasting professional connections with a diverse cohort of peers
    • Access to a robust, nationwide network of industry leaders, more than 750 partner organizations, and over 4,700 EP Alumni
    • Lifelong access to the EP network for advice, tips, and job opportunities

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Two years of full time work experience, excluding undergraduate internships OR if currently enrolled
    • Commitment to Education Pioneers’ mission and values, and a passion for social impact
    • Experience in data analysis, operations, strategy, and/or project and program management through professional experience in the private, public, non-profit, or education sectors
    • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis for the entire program (international students eligible only if Visa assistance is not required)
    • Commitment to the full program term, including the ability to complete 10 consecutive months of employment, attend in-person convenings, and other mandatory aspects of the Fellowship

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strategic, creative problem-solving skills
    • Track record of success in academic and professional settings
    • Strong communications skills to effectively engage with a diverse group of colleagues and stakeholders
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
    • For Data Analytics candidates: knowledge and/or experience with Tableau, SPSS, STATA, R, or other data visualization and data management software
    • Ability to take initiative and drive results

    Eligibility

    • Due to the complex and timebound nature of our onboarding timelines, our limited capacity as a small nonprofit organization, and our mission to build long-term talent pipelines for US education systems, eligibility for EP Fellowship is limited to US workers only (US citizens, permanent residents, asylees and refugees). EP does not sponsor visas and cannot provide or facilitate work authorization at any stage of the program, including but not limited to candidates eligible for or currently using OPT or CPT.
