    Description

    This program is aimed at medical students and graduates, as well as nurses and health technicians. The main task is to participate in our community development project in the area of ​​community health, focusing on preventative health, nutrition, and the development of strategies to improve the health of women, children, and vulnerable populations.

    You will participate in a direct immersion in the native communities of the central Andes of Peru, gaining firsthand knowledge of the various health-related deficiencies and vulnerable groups. You will work alongside members of the organization and the community to implement prevention and treatment actions for the various conditions and problems affecting individuals at risk, families, women, and the community in general.

    It is a way to gain practical experience in the area of ​​community health in rural areas of Latin American countries, plus you can adapt your skills and field of study in this area, in collaboration and mutual support with our organization, we can perfectly adapt that to our objectives and way of working.

    Requirements:

    • be at least 19 years old.
    • be a student or graduate of any medical or nursing program.
    • Must have an adaptable, open, and positive mindset.
    • have an interest in community health, especially in the context of Latin America.
    • have native English or an intermediate level of English, or basic Spanish.
    • be willing to adapt to rural community life and immerse yourself in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
    • (Optional) Skills or interests related to yoga, fitness, holistic health, and related spiritual philosophies.
