    About the Role

    Wealthy Habits, an Atlanta-based nonprofit, has been teaching financial literacy since 2012. Over the past decade, we’ve educated more than 19,000 students and trained over 120 interns. Our summer interns are paid and play a vital role in delivering engaging, hands-on programs that change how students think about money.

    Program Dates: May 27 – July 31, 2026 (9½ weeks)

    Job Summary

    • Complete three days of curriculum training with your peers.
    • Co-teach Wealthy Habits lessons with another intern (training and materials provided).
    • Facilitate both in-person camps across metro Atlanta and virtual camps from our Dunwoody office.
    • Work hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM for in-person; virtual hours vary.
    • Optional project opportunities for motivated interns:
    • Curriculum or course development
    • Business proposals or process improvements
    • Strategic planning and implementation projects

    Requirements

    • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related business field—or strong personal finance knowledge
    • Minimum 3.2 GPA
    • Clean background check
    • Reliable transportation to metro Atlanta program sites
    • Available to work onsite at our Dunwoody office for virtual sessions
    • Excited to serve the community while growing personally and professionally

    We are a fast paced small non profit that teaches about 700 students each summer. We have high expectations of you and believe that it is our job to make sure you get something big out of this opportunity in return. This internship builds confidence and communications skills most adults don't have, and of course personal finance and investing knowledge and skills.
