    The Opportunity

    Want real‑world nonprofit experience and work that actually makes a difference? Arlington Thrive is looking for an Intern who’s curious, reliable, and excited to learn a little bit of everything from development, communications, direct program work and finances. This role is a great fit if you like variety, care about social impact, and want hands‑on experience in a mission‑driven organization.

    No two days are the same.

    What You’ll Do

    You’ll support different parts of the organization, which may include:

      • Helping with program initiatives and client support tasks (behind the scenes and/or direct support)
      • Assisting with admin and office projects like organizing info, scheduling, or updating documents
      • Conducting research on community resources, grant opportunities, nonprofit best practices
      • Supporting communications and outreach (social media, emails, events, blogs, etc.)
      • Jumping in wherever help is needed—because teamwork makes the mission work

    Who You Are

    You might be a great fit if you’re:

      • Interested in nonprofits, social impact, public service, or community work
      • Organized, dependable, and not afraid to ask questions
      • Comfortable with basic tech (Microsoft 365 environment, Excel, email, etc.)
      • A student (undergrad or grad)
      • Someone who cares about people and wants to make a tangible difference locally
