    Communications & Social Media Internship

Unpaid • Flexible Schedule • Great for Building Your Portfolio & Résumé

Agassiz Village is looking for a creative, motivated Communications & Social Media Intern to help bring our mission to life across digital platforms. This is a hands‑on opportunity to build real‑world experience in nonprofit marketing, storytelling, and content creation — perfect for students or emerging professionals looking to grow their skills and portfolio.

If you love crafting engaging content, experimenting with TikTok trends, or telling meaningful stories that make an impact, we’d love to meet you.

    What You’ll Do

    • Assist in designing and executing social media campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
    • Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars
    • Produce and publish content including blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases
    • Track engagement and analytics to identify high‑performing content
    • Brainstorm and research ideas for original, mission‑driven storytelling
    • Create compelling graphics for social channels
    • Film and edit short‑form videos (TikTok experience is a huge plus!)
    • Support photo/video shoots at camp and program events
    • Develop new strategies to grow reach and engagement
    • Ensure brand voice and messaging are consistent across platforms

    What You’ll Gain

    • Real experience managing social media for a mission‑driven nonprofit
    • A strong portfolio of videos, graphics, and campaigns you created
    • Mentorship and feedback from experienced nonprofit leaders
    • Flexible hybrid work — some remote, some on‑site opportunities
    • A chance to make a meaningful impact on youth from under‑resourced communities
