QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong written, verbal, and in-person communication skills are essential
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Interest in low vision, nonprofit operations, or healthcare advocacy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
DUTIES
Administrative:
- Answering phone calls, emails and other written communications promptly
- Ordering, monitoring, distributing and restocking office supplies
- Designing and implementing essential organizational systems
- Keeping records of meeting notes, agendas and other key documents
- Completing data entry, accounts payable or light accounting duties
- Organizing the daily schedule and travel arrangements for office staff and leaders
Low Vision Clinic Support:
- Patient outreach
- Review intake forms and assist with chart preparation
- Coordinate with referring providers
- Restock supplies, update device inventory
Development and Communications:
- Draft social media, newsletters, and external content to showcase organizational impact
- Maintain donor records in Salesforce/CRM and support data integrity
- Assist with donor stewardship, including acknowledgments and communications
- Conduct prospect research and provide general support for fundraising initiatives
Project Work:
- Create or update educational materials
- Compile patient feedback or satisfaction surveys
- Assist in outreach awareness campaigns
