    Description

    As a Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in supporting Project Béisbol’s mission by helping strengthen our digital presence, storytelling, and brand visibility across multiple platforms. You will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit sports marketing while collaborating with our international team, local staff, volunteers, and partners.

    This role provides unique exposure to sports-based youth development programs, international nonprofit communications, and purpose-driven marketing campaigns focused on social impact through baseball and education.

    Location: Remote (USA or Colombia)

    Hours: 10–15 hours/week, flexible schedule with occasional meetings

    Work Environment: Primarily remote with virtual collaboration and project-based teamwork

    Compensation: This internship may include a stipend or compensation depending on the candidate’s profile, experience, and level of involvement. School credit, transportation reimbursement, potential opportunity for a fully paid mission trip to Colombia after 6 months of service.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web platforms.
    • Develop engaging written content, including social media copy, newsletters, blog posts, and promotional materials.
    • Collaborate on content creation initiatives such as video concepts, storytelling campaigns, and brand messaging.
    • Support the creation, management, and optimization of Google Ads campaigns (search, display, and video).
    • Conduct audience research and analyze campaign performance metrics to improve engagement and reach.
    • Assist in managing content calendars and marketing workflows.
    • Support website updates and SEO-oriented content initiatives when needed.
    • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and campaign planning discussions.
    • Assist and support Project Beisbol events in Colombia and the USA (when and if logistically and financially feasible)

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Active undergraduate or graduate student (or recent graduate) in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field. (required).
    • Strong passion for baseball and/or softball, and understanding of the sport’s culture and current social media movements (required).
    • Demonstrated knowledge or coursework related to digital marketing.
    • Experience or familiarity with Google Ads or digital advertising platforms (preferred).
    • Strong writing and copywriting skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
    • Creative mindset with the ability to generate content ideas and marketing concepts.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
    • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital trends.
    • Experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar (preferred).
