Our program welcomes students and graduates from diverse disciplines—whether you’re studying entrepreneurship, behavioral economics, public health, international development, nonprofit management, marketing, photography, or project management. Interns and researchers actively contribute to grassroots projects addressing women’s socio-economic empowerment, sustainable agriculture, microfinance, SRHR, HIV prevention, and WASH initiatives.

You’ll gain invaluable field experience by conducting interviews, gathering data, participating in training sessions, and helping us evaluate program impact. Many students have developed meaningful research theses here on topics like the impact of HIV on women, livelihoods and gender equity, or community health systems. As an intern with Kar Geno – Center for Hope, you’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside grassroots leaders in a real-world setting that blends community impact, cultural immersion, and personal growth. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Contribute to meaningful projects in women’s empowerment, public health, agriculture, education, SRHR, and microenterprise
• Customize your internship or research focus to align with your academic goals or thesis
