Legal Intern

POSITION SUMMARY

Internship positions for two candidates to assist in the implementation of various departmental and interdepartmental initiatives with the overall goal to streamline organizational operations in which the Legal Department is a stakeholder. The Legal Interns will also be an instrumental part of research assignments ranging across many legal matters including, but not limited to, transactions, compliance, corporate governance, and litigation. There will be some light administrative duties related to these projects.

Hours Per Week: 20 - 40 Hours | Flexible Schedule | Pay Rate: $25 - $30 an hour

To be considered you must be a student enrolled in a graduate law program. The Internship will run from June 1st - July 31st, 2026.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct factual and legal research to support Trinity’s programs and policies.
• Assist with review and drafting of vendor contracts.
• Assist with implementation of contract lifecycle management system, including system testing and creation of contract templates and playbooks.
• Assist with corporate governance projects and support of Trinity affiliates, including reviewing the organizational structure of Trinity affiliates and updating Trinity’s corporate ownership chart.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ACTIVITIES

• An interest in the law and public service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites & Adobe PDF.
• Ability to identify obstacles and recommend solutions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS

• Currently enrolled in law school.
