    Social media manager

    Are you passionate about social media and ready to use your creativity and strategic skills for a cause that matters? Then you may be a perfect fit for our Social Media Manager role as an intern in Agrigento, Sicily! You will help shape our online presence, engage a growing community, and make a real impact through digital storytelling. This is your chance to grow your skills while doing meaningful work in a beautiful setting!

    Key responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement creative social media strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and brand identity.
    • Manage and curate engaging editorial content, including text, images, and videos, for multiple social media platforms.
    • Monitor social media channels, handle community interactions, and respond thoughtfully to comments and messages.
    • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics to improve engagement and reach.
    • Plan, execute, and monitor social media campaigns (e.g. Facebook, Instagram…).
    • Collaborate with the communications and marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging and consistent branding.
    • Stay up to date with digital trends and emerging tools to enhance the organization’s online presence.

    Profile and Skills:

    We are looking for a creative and motivated individual with an interest in social media and digital communication. You should have a solid understanding of how different platforms work and how to tailor content to each audience. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential, along with the ability to think creatively and analytically. Familiarity with tools like Canva and basic video editing software is a plus. You should be organized, adaptable, and eager to learn, capable of managing multiple tasks while working collaboratively within a team. Above all, you should bring curiosity, positivity, and a proactive attitude to everything you do.

    Internship requirements:

    • You must be eligible for the Erasmus+ program
    • You are able to join us in Agrigento for at least 4 months
    • You have at least a B1 level in English.
