History and Tourism Internship

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as an intern at one of our renowned touristic partners in Agrigento, Sicily. This internship is ideal for students or graduates who are passionate about history, tourism, and cultural heritage. You will gain hands-on experience in the tourism sector while exploring the rich history and landmarks of Agrigento.

Main Tasks:

• Management of Incoming Flows on Site
  • Monitoring traffic at entry points.
  • Coordinating with ticketing staff.
  • Assisting in visitor crowd management.
• Tourist Guidance and Support
  • Guiding tourists through different areas and providing cultural and historical context.
  • Responding to tourist inquiries and offering assistance.
  • Ensuring visitors comply with site regulations.
• Front Office Management and Paperwork
  • Processing ticket sales.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks and documentation.

Internship requirements:

• You must be eligible for the Erasmus+ program
• You are able to join us in Agrigento for at least 4 months
• You have at least a B1 level in English. Knowledge of other languages is appreciated.
