International Cooperation Internship
As an International Cooperation Intern at Tierra Techo Trabajo (TTT), you will play a key role in expanding our network of partners involved in advocacy and international cooperation. This internship offers hands-on experience in international relations, advocacy, and strategic partnership development. You will work closely with our team to identify potential collaborators, engage with stakeholders, and support the growth of our initiatives.
This role offers the opportunity to engage in Youth for Exchange Program, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering young people through international exchanges and cross-cultural experiences. By fostering leadership skills and global citizenship, the program empowers youth to become advocates for social justice and positive change in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research to identify potential partners, including NGOs, governmental agencies, and international organizations. Analyze potential partners’ missions and goals to assess alignment with TTT’s objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in preparing communication materials and outreach strategies. Facilitate initial contact and follow-up with potential partners.
- Partnership Development: Support the development of partnership proposals and agreements. Collaborate with the team to organize meetings, workshops, and events with partners.
- Advocacy Support: Contribute to the planning and execution of advocacy campaigns. Assist in drafting policy briefs, reports, and other advocacy documents.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain and update databases of partners and stakeholders. Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings and preparing necessary documentation.
Skills and Experience Acquired:
- Research and Analytical Skills: gain proficiency in conducting targeted research, analyzing data, and assessing partner compatibility in the international cooperation and advocacy sector.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: develop communication skills through drafting proposals and outreach materials while building interpersonal skills through team collaboration and external stakeholder engagement.
- Project Management: acquire hands-on experience in project management by supporting advocacy campaigns and partnership initiatives, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of International Cooperation: deepen your knowledge of international cooperation, advocacy strategies, and the operations of NGOs and international organizations. Gain insights into policy development and social justice advocacy.

Internship requirements:
- You are able to join us in Agrigento for at least 4 months
- You have at least a B1 in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in International Relations, Political Science, Development Studies, or a related field.
