    Description

    Role Summary

    The Coordinator of Public Advancement works closely with the SVP of Digital Strategy and Public

    Advancement to execute FARE's public giving strategy through multi-channel annual giving campaigns,

    donor acquisition and engagement initiatives, peer-to-peer fundraising, digital giving, and stewardship

    programs.

    This role supports project management, execution, and tracking of fundraising and digital engagement

    campaigns—ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, tracking against project requirements,

    coordinating across team, and supporting reporting and optimization. The ideal candidate is highly

    organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. The person is

    proactive and can work well autonomously as well as in a team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Annual Giving, Campaigns, and Fundraising

    • Support the SVP in implementing annual giving and public fundraising strategies through coordinated multi-channel projects
    • Support annual giving campaigns, including Giving Tuesday, End-of-Year, and other fundraising initiatives like monthly giving, renew/reinstate, and others. Also support campaigns that have cross-functional goals across awareness, engagement, and fundraising, including Food Allergy Awareness Week/Month, Back to School, October Teal Pumpkin Project, and others.
    • Coordinate peer-to-peer/crowdfunding, workplace giving, social media giving, and other digital fundraising initiatives and campaign executions.
    • Provide project management support for Public Service Announcement (PSA) development and production, including distribution and reporting as needed.
    • Manage campaign calendars, production timelines, deliverables tracking, routing and approvals, cross-functional workflows. QA content and deliverables. Support reporting and optimization.
    • Help write and create content as needed.

    Stewardship & Prospect/Donor Engagement

    • Support Development and MarCom in executing acquisition, cultivation, and stewardship activities that strengthen prospect and donor engagement as well as long-term retention. This may include acknowledgements, donor engagement communications, and managing constituent inquiries.

    Performance & Operations

    • Support implementation and tracking across fundraising platforms, donation pages, and digital campaign integrations, as needed.
    • Support campaign performance and metrics tracking, as needed, working closely with Development operations.
    • Maintain accurate campaign tracking, donor records, and segmentation within Salesforce.
    • Collaborate across departments including development, marcom, finance, and program teams.
    • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and external partners supporting campaign execution.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Demonstrates strength in project management, organization, high attention to detail, and crossfunctional collaboration.
    • Experience in fundraising, digital marketing, and/or online community engagement. Healthrelated cause experience a plus.
    • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, fundraising platforms (i.e. GoFundMe), CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce), and digital analytics preferred.
    • Ability to make simple graphic edits (e.g., resizing or adapting existing assets) a plus, but not required.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
    • Proactive and demonstrates strong follow-through. Can work autonomously as well as collaboratively in team settings. Strong communication skills.
    • Passion for mission-driven work and building community around a cause.
    • Ability to work some nights and weekends for campaign launches and deliverables.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
    • 2-4+ years of development and/or digital marketing experience.
