Green Dot Public Schools is looking for passionate, curious, and driven individuals to teach High School Physics and inspire students to see the world through science.
Whether you're already a credentialed teacher, an engineer looking for a meaningful career change, or a recent STEM graduate interested in education, we'd love to meet you.
No teaching credential? That's okay. If you're eligible for a California teaching credential, we'll help you navigate the pathway to becoming a Physics teacher.
Who Should Apply?
We're especially interested in candidates who have:
- A Bachelor's degree in:
- Physics
- Applied Physics
- Mechanical Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or working with high school students - or a genuine interest in helping students prepare for college, careers, and life after high school.
- A passion for science and a desire to make complex concepts engaging and accessible for students.
Whether you've taught in a classroom, coached robotics, led labs, tutored students, or trained employees, we want to hear your story.
