    Description

Pollinate Impact is a member-led network of impact incubatorsⓘ in the Global South. We believe that storytelling can inspire meaningful action, and we are seeking a Marketing Communications Manager (aka, our Network Storyteller!) to help us tell ours.

As our Network Storyteller, you will be our storyteller and brand champion for Pollinate Impact. Your primary goal will be to craft and disseminate compelling narratives that articulate our vision and values, showcase our work, and mobilise diverse stakeholders to engage with our network.

You will be instrumental in amplifying our network’s voice and member successes to affect our mission of industry transformation. This role requires a unique blend of creativity, detail-oriented thinking, strategic thinking, and a passion for our mission, while being a digitally savvy communicator who can own the end-to-end execution of our communications activities. You will lead our communications efforts across all platforms, ensuring that every piece of content and every campaign reflects our core values and advances our mission.

You will work collaboratively with our marketing advisor to develop an annual communications plan that positions the network as the voice of the industry, amplifying our message across the ecosystem through an integrated approach of digital marketing, content creation, member engagement, and partner alignment.

You will be responsible for executing this annual plan. You will oversee the production of our annual report, develop and manage relationships with media partners and spearhead campaigns that drive both awareness and action. You will attend our convenings to draw out insights, trends, and opinions on the industry to inform and influence our campaigns and engage in industry conversations. We are looking for someone who can translate the nuanced language of the impact incubation industry into accessible, digestible and emotionally resonant content.

You will manage our website, social media channels and email newsletters, transforming them into vibrant hubs for all stakeholders. You will be the central link between our main pillars of the network: membership, convenings, research, connections, collective action teams and tools, to support their goals, while aligning and weaving together the overall network’s messaging.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the social impact, development, or start-up entrepreneurship ecosystem – this is a must for us! – and you’re a firm believer in the power of impact entrepreneurship to address the world’s most complex challenges.

You must be an exceptional writer and editor, capable of crafting everything from persuasive messaging for a programme to informative blog posts and engaging social media updates. Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and a strong understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics are required. You should be a collaborative leader who works effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and regions of the Global South.

We’re looking for someone comfortable working full-time in a remote role, preferably based in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, or Southeast Asia. Our team is scattered across the globe, so being flexible about meeting outside a 9-5 schedule is important, since our opportunities to connect as a team are limited due to the spread of time zones.
