About the Organization
HEAL Palestine was founded on January 1, 2024, as a nonprofit organization dedicated
to supporting children in Palestine especially in Gaza through a holistic approach
centered on Health, Education, Aid, and Leadership (HEAL). HEAL empowers youth
and fosters hope through grassroots programs and global volunteer engagement,
creating lasting opportunities for healing and development.
Office Administration
- Oversee day-to-day office administration to ensure a smooth, efficient, and well-organized workplace.
- Manage office budgeting and expenses, including invoice processing and cost tracking.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Collect and manage organization’s incoming and outgoing mail on a predetermined schedule.
- Scan all mail and paper documents and file hard and digital copies appropriately, sharing digital copies with relevant personnel.
- Handle communication efforts, including phone, mail, and email correspondences and donation receipts.
- General administrative tasks including data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
- Manage relationships with office service providers as requested.
- Assist with office equipment setup, workspace allocation, and facilities-related improvements.
- Create digital marketing materials such as slide decks and Canva flyers as needed.
- Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
Merchandise Coordination
- Manage and maintain inventory of HEAL branded merchandise.
- Pack and ship merchandise as needed.
- Reorder as needed and manage invoices and order pickups.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field, or equivalent degree or experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in office administration.
- Nonprofit experience preferred but not required
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Google ecosystem and Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Canva and Adobe Acrobat is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities proactively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, vendors, and leadership.
