    Description

    The San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group (SFPRG) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing education, research, and professional development in psychotherapy. We provide continuing education programs, support a vibrant professional membership, and manage office space shared with nonprofit tenants.

    SFPRG is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the organization's administrative, financial, and operational functions. This role serves as the hub of the organization, supporting the Board of Directors, managing office operations, coordinating with tenants and vendors, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with nonprofit reporting requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

      • Manage day-to-day office operations, records, mail, and general administration.
      • Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial records using QuickBooks Online.
      • Coordinate with property management, building maintenance, janitorial services, and subtenants.
      • Manage insurance renewals and maintain organizational insurance records.
      • Coordinate annual nonprofit, tax, payroll, and regulatory filings with professional accountants and bookkeepers.
      • Administer membership renewals, donor acknowledgments, and member communications using ClubExpress.
      • Support SFPRG's continuing education programs by maintaining records, distributing certificates, and preparing annual APA and ACCME accreditation reports.
      • Maintain an organized, welcoming office environment and coordinate routine facility maintenance.
      • Serve as the primary administrative contact for Board members, vendors, contractors, members, and tenants.

    Qualifications

      • Three or more years of office management, nonprofit administration, or related experience.
      • Experience with bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online.
      • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines.
      • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
      • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

    Benefits

    This is a 15 hour per week job. Our office is located in the Presidio and is a hybrid position, with one day per week on-site
