LINGO is seeking 1–2 freelance campaign-planning and coaching facilitators to support grassroots climate and environmental justice groups, primarily in the Global South, through remote strategy workshops and follow-on coaching.
This is a fully remote contractor role, with the possibility of transitioning to a more long-term role. Facilitators will work directly with LINGO’s Empower programme to prepare and lead online campaign-planning workshops, join scoping and prep calls in advance, and provide ongoing coaching support to participants after workshops. The aim is to help groups develop practical, usable campaign plans that they can carry forward.

About LINGO
The Leave it in the Ground Initiative (LINGO) was established in 2011 with the goal of contributing to ending the fossil fuel age as quickly as possible.
LINGO has identified and pushed forward high-impact game changers for the fossil endgame for a decade, working at the intersection of resistance to fossil fuel projects, research and incubating bold new framings and solutions to the climate emergency. We are members of the Global Gas and Oil Network, Rapid Transition Alliance, Beyond Gas Network, Ende Gelände Coalition, Mexican Alliance Against Fracking and others.
LINGO’s strategy is to reframe the thorniest issues to make them actionable and provide strategic information to the movement to act on critical issues.
Fluency in English is required, fluency in Spanish is ideal.
Please send a CV and letter of intent to francesco.loyola@leave-it-in-the-ground.org. Applicants who meet our criteria will be invited for an interview, after which a small task will be assigned. The successful candidate will then receive a formal offer.
