    Description

    The Role

    The Fund is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Fellow to support the Human Resources team. The HR Fellow will play a key role in supporting timesheet processes, reconciliation, and reporting, while assisting with broader HR operations. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit human resources within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

    Duties

    • Support organization-wide timesheet processes, including tracking submissions and following up on missing or incomplete timesheets
    • Review and reconcile timesheet data to ensure accuracy and alignment with payroll and internal records
    • Assist in preparing regular and ad hoc HR and payroll-related reports
    • Identify discrepancies in timesheet or payroll data and work with relevant teams to resolve issues
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems
    • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of new hire documentation
    • Support processing of personnel changes such as salary updates, title changes, and terminations
    • Track and support compliance-related activities, including trainings and required documentation
    • Assist with benefits administration tasks and respond to employee inquiries
    • Maintain organized and confidential HR files and documentation
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
    • Collaborate across departments to support HR operations and data accuracy

    Qualifications

    • Interest in Human Resources, nonprofit operations, finance, or related field
    • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data and spreadsheets
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, basic formulas) and Word
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Inova, ADP) or payroll systems is a plus

    Compensation

    The annual salary range for this role is $54,600
