APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED THROUGH IDEALIST TO BE CONSIDERED
In this role, you won't just post content—you will be the steward of our mission. You will take our long-form video content and transform it into compelling short/medium-form videos, engaging graphics, and written updates across our channels. You will lead our social strategy, track relevant world events, direct influencer collaborations, and nurture an active, compassionate community.
If you have a deep appreciation for the mindfulness space, an eye for elite visual design, and the technical skill to produce polished social video efficiently, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Content Production & Multi-Channel Distribution:
Repurpose long-form video content into clips, reels, shorts, and carousel posts optimized for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Substack.
Maintain a consistent posting rhythm of 2–3 high-impact posts per week across primary platforms.
Write clear, mission-aligned captions and copy that resonate deeply with our audience.
Brand Voice, Positioning & Mission Articulation:
Articulate our organization's core values and mindfulness/self-compassion principles across all communications.
Monitor world events, cultural conversations, and industry trends to keep our content relevant, timely, and responsive.
Protect and elevate our visual brand identity—maintaining exceptionally high production standards across every touchpoint.
Partnerships, Events & Community Growth:
Pitch, secure, and manage influencer collaborations, brand partnerships, and cross-promotions within the mindfulness space.
Lead social marketing campaigns for our upcoming events, workshops, fundraisers, and special initiatives.
Engage directly with our community, building meaningful connections and fostering a supportive atmosphere in comments and messages.
Operations & Workflow:
Manage all task workflows independently within Asana to keep content calendars running smoothly and on schedule.
Leverage modern tools (Canva, video editing suites, and AI platforms like Opus) to streamline workflow without sacrificing quality.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
Experience: 3+ years managing multi-channel social media presences with a proven track record of growing and engaging audiences.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, etc.), Canva design, and familiarity with AI video tools (e.g., Opus Clip).
Industry Alignment: A strong personal or professional understanding of the mindfulness, self-compassion, wellness, or personal growth space.
Systems-Oriented: Hands-on experience using Asana (or similar PM tools) to manage content calendars independently.
Aesthetic Eye: Exceptional visual design sensibility—you understand pacing, typography, layout, and lighting in video.
When submitting your application, please include the word 'Mindful' at the very beginning of your introduction
Proactive Drive: Self-directed mindset with the ability to turn raw content into finished products without requiring step-by-step supervision.
