Description
The AnBryce Foundation is seeking an experienced Assistant Camp Director to help lead Camp Dogwood Summer Academy, a residential summer program serving under-resourced youth. This role supports the Director of Summer Residential Programs in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for campers and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily camp operations, programming, schedules, and staff supervision.
- Mentor and evaluate staff and assist with training and logistics.
- Support safety and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate field trips, service projects, special guests, and camp events.
- Oversee aquatic programming and lifeguard staff.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive camp community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, liberal arts, parks and recreation, or a related field.
- Age 25+ with senior-level residential camp experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
- CPR, First Aid, AED, Lifeguard, and WSI certifications required or must be obtained.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus.
