Established in 1977, CPR is an independent nonprofit organization that promotes the prevention and resolution of conflict to better enable the pursuit of purpose through the CPR Institute and its subsidiary, CPR Dispute Resolution Services LLC.
The CPR Institute builds capacity for dispute prevention and resolution through the thought leadership of its diverse members – companies, leading mediators and arbitrators, law firms, individual practitioners, and academics – who share best practices and develop innovative tools for dispute management through committee discussions and projects, publications, education and training, and hosting events.
CPR Dispute Resolution is a responsive, user-focused provider of dispute management services – arbitration, mediation, custom appointing services, a panel of dispute prevention specialists, and more - that leverages resources generated by the CPR Institute. The case administrators are responsive, efficient, and detail-oriented, and have extensive backgrounds in alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Position Overview:
This part-time, permanent position, will support the President & CEO and two Boards of Directors in executing governance, scheduling, and assisting with committee management. This role’s primary responsibilities will be to serve as the central point for scheduling board activities, executive calendar management, and administrative coordination of board governance materials and documentation. Additional responsibilities will include providing administrative and operational support in the form of managing CPR’s online store, assorted CRM data entry, processing office mail, and providing ad-hoc clerical assistance to support CPR’s multiple in-person and online events. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills who anticipates challenges, troubleshoots problems, and is solution orientated.

CPR’s work hours are 9:30 am – 5:30 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Evening and/or weekend work is rare but may occur during 2-3 peak time periods each year. This is a part-time position of approximately 20 29 hours per week, which may vary depending on workload.
This is a hybrid position, and incumbents will be expected to be present at our Midtown office at least twice per week. The CPR office is located just off Lexington Avenue in upper Midtown Manhattan. It is within walking distance of Grand Central Terminal and multiple subway lines. CPR will provide a laptop for business use. This position may require occasional travel.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and CPR reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, CPR or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $25 - $30 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors which may include but are not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including discretionary bonuses as well as various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, summer Fridays, and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Fluency in English.
Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese highly desirable for international support work but not required.
