Volunteer Manager
Details
Description
The Greenway Conservancy, the non-profit responsible for the management and care of The Greenway, is seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as the Volunteer Manager. The Volunteer Manager will oversee our volunteer program, which offers opportunities for individuals, corporate groups, students, and other community groups to experience hands-on learning while they assist us with park care and organizational stewardship. The Conservancy welcomes over 500 volunteers annually to assist with planting and landscape care, programmatic support, ecological data collection, and park cleaning. Additionally, the Volunteer Manager will foster new and strengthen existing relationships with individuals and organizations through tours and speaking engagements with Conservancy staff. As the Conservancy begins implementing its new strategic plan, we are seeking a candidate motivated by the opportunity to expand and innovate the volunteer programs, deepening volunteers' roles as stewards of the park and strengthening their connection to the Conservancy's mission and impact.
The Greenway Conservancy is committed to providing a park environment that is welcoming to racially, culturally, and economically diverse residents and visitors. You can read more about our mission, vision, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion on our website.
