    Description

U.S. Dream Academy is seeking a Program Coordinator to join our Baltimore Learning Center.

For more than 25 years, U.S. Dream Academy has worked to empower children and young people through academic support, character development, and mentoring, with a special focus on children impacted by incarceration. We partner with schools and communities to provide young people with the support, relationships, and opportunities they need to reach their potential.

This full-time role is ideal for an experienced youth development professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing both programming and data.

The Program Coordinator works closely with the Center Director to coordinate Learning Center programming, support mentoring activities, maintain accurate student and program data, and ensure grant-related documentation and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time. The Coordinator also plays a role in our mentoring program by supporting the mentor-mentee matching and ongoing match engagement.

    We’re looking for someone with:

    • Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students in a school, after-school, mentoring, or youth-development setting
    • Strong data collection, documentation, tracking, and organizational skills
    • Experience supporting mentoring programs, mentor-mentee relationships, and/or volunteers
    • Experience creating workflows, spreadsheets, trackers, or other systems that improve program operations
    • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, judgment, and initiative
    • Experience with grant-funded programming and reporting; Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) grant experience strongly preferred
    • Nonprofit experience highly preferred
    • The ability to build strong relationships with students, families, mentors, school personnel, and community partners

If you bring strong youth-development experience, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to keep programs, people, and data organized, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a full-time position based in Baltimore, Maryland, with a comprehensive benefits package. U.S. Dream Academy covers 80% of the cost of medical, dental, and vision benefits.
