    Role Purpose :

    We are looking for a hands-on, goal-oriented, and high-energy professional to build our Fundraising and Partnerships vertical from scratch. The post-holder will be responsible for developing and implementing successful strategies for fundraising, diversifying the donor portfolio, and strengthening the existing donor pipeline by securing continued financial support and building durable relationships. The incumbent will create a sustainable source of funds to leverage the overall mission and goals of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a successful and sustainable fundraising strategy and roadmap to support the organization's programs.
    • Network Building: Develop a national and international network of diverse supporters, strengthening the existing network and adding new champions and donors committed to multi-year partnerships.
    • Donor Engagement: Ensure engaged donor relationships through strong reporting and communication updates regarding program progress and impact.
    • Communications & Advocacy: Lead the creation and dissemination of external communications linked to advocacy and the development of donors and partners.
    • Pitching & Presentations: Assist advocacy efforts, including delivering presentations to existing and potential national and international partners.
    • Media Outreach: Effectively manage communications and social media outreach highlighting organizational programs.

    • Strong personal integrity, alignment with organizational goals, and commitment to donor agreements.
    • Alignment with the vision of strengthening public education systems by building the agency of teachers, children, parents, and ecosystem leaders.
    • Strong sense of ownership and capacity to drive results.
    • Agile, well-planned, open to change, and an active listener.

    Experience & Qualifications

    Must Haves:

    • Education: Master's degree in Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.
    • Experience: 5 to 10 years of direct experience in fundraising and partnership management, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
    • Track Record: Demonstrated experience successfully fundraising at least ₹5 crores annually for social causes from bilateral/multilateral organizations, institutional donors, foundations, corporate CSR entities, and high-net-worth individuals.
    • Relationship Management: Proven track record of building, developing, and managing key stakeholder, client, and donor relationships.

    Preferable:

    • Exposure to or experience within the education sector is an added advantage.
