    About One Earth

One Earth is an organization of climate strategists and storytellers working to accelerate science-based climate and biodiversity solutions. Guided by the One Earth Solutions Framework - a roadmap of more than 75 proven pathways across Energy Transition, Nature Conservation, and Regenerative Agriculture - we translate knowledge into action. Through a suite of tools, research initiatives, and storytelling platforms, we help connect local solutions to global priorities and support coordinated action around the world. Together, we are helping shift the narrative from overwhelm to possibility and build a just, thriving future for all.

    Diversity & Inclusion

Central to One Earth's mission is a recognition of the value of diversity. One Earth is an equal opportunity employer and will not tolerate discrimination in employment on the basis of race, color, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, disability, ethnicity, national origin, marital status, protected veteran status, genetic information, or any other legally protected classification or status. People of color, women, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ candidates are all encouraged to apply.

    Position Overview

One Earth works to address the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss by shifting both culture and capital toward the solutions our planet needs most. Through science, storytelling, and strategic philanthropy, we identify the most effective climate solutions, make them visible and accessible to global audiences, and help mobilize the resources and collective action needed to scale them.

We are seeking a Senior Director of Programs & Impact to help lead and integrate this work across a growing ecosystem of programs that connect science, culture, and capital. This role will guide program strategy, strengthen alignment across initiatives, and help translate One Earth’s solutions framework into real-world impact. The Senior Director will play a central role in ensuring that One Earth’s programs operate as a connected ecosystem, linking solutions insight, cultural momentum, and capital mobilization to accelerate climate and biodiversity action.

One Earth’s work is organized across a portfolio of interconnected programs that identify climate solutions, build cultural momentum around them, and guide resources toward the places and communities where they can have the greatest impact.

    • Solutions Insight & Climate Finance Intelligence

One Earth develops science-based frameworks and tools that identify the most effective climate and biodiversity solutions and pathways and reveal where capital is most needed. This work includes the One Earth Solutions Framework, Global Safety Net, and Bioregions Framework, along with our climate finance intelligence initiatives such as the Minding the Gaps report series and the One Earth Solutions Finance Tracker (OESFT). Together, these tools translate complex science and data into clear priorities that help guide philanthropy, investment, and policy.

    • The One Earth Fund

Building on insights from our research and finance analysis, the One Earth Fund mobilizes catalytic philanthropic capital toward high-impact climate and biodiversity priorities and the geographies where they can deliver the greatest impact. The Fund aims to accelerate investment in underfunded regenerative solutions while strengthening alignment among philanthropists and partners working to scale climate action.

    • Storytelling & Digital Platforms

One Earth leverages storytelling, media, and digital tools to make climate solutions visible, accessible, and inspiring to global audiences. Our platforms—including the One Earth website & social media channels, Solutions Hub, and Navigator—translate complex science into compelling narratives and practical insights that empower individuals, communities, and institutions to engage with climate solutions. Today, One Earth’s digital ecosystem generates more than 14 million impressions each month, connecting audiences worldwide with science-based solutions and the people implementing them.

Together, these programs form a connected ecosystem that translates science into strategy, builds cultural momentum for climate solutions, and helps align capital to scale them.
