    Description

    The Corporate and Individual Gift Officer is responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding relationships with corporate partners and individual donors to advance Connectedly's mission. This role will build and manage a portfolio of prospects and current supporters, working to grow philanthropic revenue through major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and annual giving.

    Key Responsibilities

    Individual Giving

    • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of individual major donors and prospects
    • Develop and execute personalized cultivation strategies, including in-person meetings, calls, and written communications
    • Manage the annual giving program, including appeals, year-end campaigns, and donor recognition
    • Work closely with the Executive Director and Fundraising Consultant to set and meet fundraising goals

    Corporate Giving & Sponsorships

    • Build relationships with corporate partners, identifying opportunities for sponsorship and general philanthropic support
    • Manage corporate partner benefits, recognition, and reporting requirements

    Donor Relations & Stewardship

    • Develop stewardship plans to deepen relationships with existing supporters
    • Maintain accurate donor records and giving histories in the organization's CRM/database (Salesforce)

    Planned Giving

    • Develop a Legacy Giving program for Connectedly
    • Develop marketing strategies to educate constituents about planned giving, stock donations, IRA distributions, and gifts from Donor Advised Funds
    • Solicit and secure estate gifts

    General

    • Represent Connectedly at community events, donor meetings, and networking opportunities
    • Track progress against fundraising goals and provide regular reporting
    • Report on activity at all Connectedly Board Meetings
    • Work with the Connectedly Board of Directors to identify, cultivate, and solicit corporate and individual donors

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience, with a track record of securing major gifts and/or corporate sponsorships
    • Excellent relationship-building, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with donor database/CRM systems
    • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Passion for Connectedly's mission and the communities it serves
    • Comfortable representing the organization at evening and weekend events as needed

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with aging services, kinship/grandfamily programs, or human services nonprofits
    • Existing relationships within the Philadelphia philanthropic or corporate community
