    Description

    Position Summary

    The Lead Case Manager provides leadership and oversight for programs and services that support refugees in successful integration. This position is responsible for overseeing case management and refugee support services, fostering partnerships, and supervising staff, interns, and volunteers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive services.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Program Leadership
    • Provide strategic leadership for all refugee outreach programs and services.
    • Build and maintain partnerships with universities, healthcare organizations, and community agencies.
    • Represent the organization in community meetings and professional partnerships.
    • Supervise and train case managers, staff, interns, and volunteers.
    • Conduct regular staff meetings and foster effective communication across the team.
    • Program Operations & Data Management
    • Oversee daily program operations and ensure quality service delivery.
    • Manage Salesforce documentation, reporting, and data quality.
    • Monitor case documentation, service records, and program compliance.
    • Collect, analyze, and report program outcomes and client service data.
    • Case Management & Client Advocacy
    • Provide direct support for clients with complex or high-risk needs using trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices.
    • Assist clients with public benefits, including but not limited to, SSI, SSD, and SNAP
    • Advocate for clients with government agencies, healthcare providers, and more
    • Coordinate crisis intervention, referrals, and resource navigation to promote stability.
    • Immigration Services
    • Work with immigration staff to coordinate immigration-related services and referrals.
    • Ensure accurate documentation and communication between clients and providers
    • Administrative & Organizational Responsibilities
    • Maintain accurate records, reports, and required documentation.
    • Support program planning, evaluation, grant compliance, quality improvement, and organizational sustainability.
    • Monitor agency communication channels and ensure efficient administrative operations.

    Reports to:

    • RRRS Executive Director

    Qualifications

    • Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW) preferred but not required.
    • Experience serving refugee, immigrant, or other vulnerable populations preferred.
    • Valid New York State driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred.
    • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Salary range: $45,000- $60,000 depending upon experience
