    Job Title: Administrative & Operations Coordinator (part-time)

    Location: Primarily remote, but the candidate must be available for in-person work in Boulder and the surrounding area.

    About Us: Local Theater Company is a nonprofit that discovers, develops, and produces exceptional new plays and theatrical works.

    Position Overview:

    Local Theater Company seeks a highly organized Administrative & Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day work of our nonprofit theater company.

    This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys executing tasks, managing details, and helping systems run smoothly. The position involves a wide range of administrative and logistical responsibilities and requires someone who can take direction, follow through reliably, and keep projects moving forward. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing many responsibilities at once.

    Rate and hours: $20/hr for 15-20 hours per week

    Flexible schedule, with some in-person work required for events and productions.

    Key Responsibilities include:

    Administrative & Operations

    • Maintain internal records and assist with data entry and reporting
    • Process hiring paperwork and payroll documentation for contractors
    • Track donations and assist with donor database updates
    • Support scheduling and internal calendar management
    • Assist with general administrative and operational needs

    Production & Event Support

    • Support with logistics of events and programming
    • Project management
    • Arrange travel and housing for visiting artists
    • Volunteer coordination

    Audience and box office support

    • Manage subscriber and ticketholder communications
    • Assist with box office operations
    • Support front-of-house during events
    • Manage calendar listings

    Assist with additional administrative and operational needs

    Required Skills:

    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Project management skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Clear written and verbal communication
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through reliably
    • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
    • Reliable transportation

    Timeline:

    Priority will be given to applications received before March 20th.
