Description
ThinkGive is a nonprofit whose mission is to empower youth to take actions that positively impact themselves and others—building character, confidence, and connection. We partner with schools and youth-serving organizations to deliver research-backed SEL programs to youth ages 5–14. Since 2013, we've engaged more than 23,500 youth; this year, we expect to partner with approximately 95 organizations, 93% of which primarily serve under-resourced youth.
We're seeking a strategic, creative, and analytically minded Marketing Manager to increase awareness, expand our reach, and generate new opportunities to bring our programs to more youth. The Manager leads marketing strategy and execution across our website, email, digital campaigns, content, and social media—moving between strategy, execution, and analysis to develop campaigns, measure results, and continuously improve. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role works closely with program, development, and partnerships, and supervises one direct report, the Marketing + Program Assistant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy + Growth
- Develop and implement ThinkGive's marketing strategy — including campaigns and content across channels informed by audience needs and performance data — to increase awareness, generate qualified leads, and support program growth.
Website + Content
- Own ThinkGive's website and content strategy—including updates, blog development, SEO, and discoverability across search and AI platforms—creating compelling content that demonstrates impact and moves prospective partners from awareness to engagement.
Email, Social Media + Communications
- Develop and manage email marketing, social media strategy, and marketing materials to strengthen ThinkGive's brand and visibility, working with the Marketing + Program Assistant on social media execution.
Marketing Operations + Analytics
- Manage ThinkGive's marketing technology (website, email, forms, CRM, and workflows) tracking and analyzing performance to continuously improve strategy, campaigns, and lead generation.
Team
- Provide guidance and support to one direct report, the Marketing + Program Assistant.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, preferably in a nonprofit or education setting.
- Strong strategic thinking, writing, editing, and project management skills.
- A resourceful problem-solver who can troubleshoot tech issues, adapt when campaigns don't go as planned, and find creative solutions on the fly.
- Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Experience with digital marketing, including website/content management, email marketing, social media, and analytics.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to use performance metrics to improve strategy and results.
- Experience using marketing technology such as a CMS, email platform, CRM, and marketing automation tools.
- Proficiency in Canva, Google Analytics, WordPress, and Google Workspace required. Experience with Make or Zapier is a plus.
