We are seeking a full-time Assistant Program Director to support operations for the community based satellites of our Article 31 clinic. The Assistant Director would work on site at our W. 91st location as well as remotely, with intermittent travel to SPOP’s satellite clinics throughout New York City. They work closely with and are supervised by the Senior Vice President for Clinical Services. The AD supports SPOP’s continued presence in Older Adult Centers, acts as liaison with NYC Aging program officers and relevant staff members, attending administrative and provider meetings, and provides supervision to a roster of LMSW/LCSW clinicians and administrative and clinical oversight of SPOP’s satellite locations.
The successful candidate will be clinically driven, highly organized and communicate effectively across diverse learning styles. The candidate should have knowledge of evidenced-based practices, including trauma-centered modalities, group therapy and experience providing effective treatment for older adults. They will evidence a strong commitment to anti-oppressive practice, and have general knowledge of NYS OMH and NYC DoHMH regulations. Experience with NYC Aging is beneficial but not required.
