    Description

    Final Victory Animal Rescue (FVAR) is not your typical nonprofit.

    We are a high-impact, fast-growing animal rescue based in West Columbia, South Carolina, completing over 2,000 adoptions each year. We are entering a critical growth phase, including development of a new facility and preparation for a capital campaign.

    We are seeking a contract, part-time Capital Campaign & Development Lead to help build the fundraising strategy, donor infrastructure, and campaign roadmap needed for this next phase.

    About the Role:

    This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will work alongside leadership to build and execute a development strategy supporting immediate fundraising needs and long-term sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and lead a capital campaign strategy
    • Create a compelling case for support
    • Identify and cultivate major donors
    • Build donor tracking and reporting systems
    • Advise on fundraising strategy and messaging
    • Support financial visibility and planning

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Proven experience in fundraising or development
    • Direct involvement in a fundraising campaign (required)
    • Ability to build systems from scratch
    • Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication skills

    Position Details:

    • Contract /Fractional Part-time (10–20 hours/week)
    • Initial 6-month term
    • Flexible / primarily remote

    Compensation:

    This is a contract, part-time role (10–20 hours per week) with a high level of flexibility.

    Compensation is commensurate with experience, with an expected range of $3,000–$7,000 per month.

    We are committed to structuring this role for success and are open to meaningful performance-based incentives tied to key milestones, including campaign development, donor growth, and early fundraising traction.

    We are flexible in how this is structured and are seeking the right person to partner with us during this critical phase of growth.
