Politcal Canvasser

Job Responsibilities

• Door to door canvassing in residential areas

Qualifications:

The canvasser position is an entry-level position. No experience with canvassing is necessary. Successful applicants, however, will have the following characteristics:

• Punctual and reliable
• Good communication skills
• Outgoing personality
• Enjoys meeting and talking to people
• Energetic and enthusiastic
• Committed to advancing immigrants’ rights and workers’ rights
• Interested in/passionate about voting and civic participation
• We take the health and safety of our team very seriously. Must be vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated before starting for the safety of yourself and those you will be working with.

Terms of Employment

• The Community Canvasser position is a full-time position (part-time options for students can be worked out).
• Pay begins at $25/hr
• The Community Canvasser position is available now until November. Canvassers with interest and demonstrated capacity will also have the opportunity for promotion to leadership positions on our canvass team.
