INSTITUTIONAL SUMMARY
AdminWise Shared Services, Inc., (“AdminWise”) is a non-profit organization that offers a comprehensive range of shared administrative services to seminaries and faith-based colleges. With a team of experts dedicated to these institutions, AdminWise solves critical administrative challenges, including budgeting and strategic planning, reducing operational costs, recruiting and retaining qualified staff, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, and improving service quality for faculty, staff and students. By working with AdminWise, institutions free critical resources to devote to their primary mission of educating leaders for the church and world.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice-President of Human Resources and Title IX Services (“VP of HR and Title IX Services”), the Human Resources (“HR”) Generalist is a full-time exempt position that will provide specialized operational HR support to one or more partner schools in support of its mission, strategic direction, and/or operational efficiencies. The HR Generalist will own the operational core of the HR function of AdminWise’s partner schools including compliance, systems automation, onboarding/recruiting support, employee relations, training coordination, benefits support, and enforcing company policies and practices of partner schools. The HR Generalist will also provide operational HR support to AdminWise’s internal operations by implementing policies and best practices for organizational efficiency in consultation with the VP of HR & Title IX Services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Partner Schools:
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies inhuman resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Collaborate with the VP of HR and Title IX Services with the implementation of strategic initiatives for partner schools.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
AdminWise:
- Assist with the creation and implementation of organizational policies and procedures, e.g., employee handbook, HR employment policies, onboarding/offboarding procedures, in collaboration with VP of HR & Title IX Services, President, Director of Operations, and other organizational department leaders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations with partner schools.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn a parter school’s HRIS and talent management systems.
- Proficiency with multi-state employment regulations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-5 years of HR generalist experience; employee relations; or HR operations roles.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- HRCI or SHRM certification.
Preferred
- Experience in higher education, faith-based, or non-profit organizations.
- Theological education a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Business hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST; however, depending upon the needs of partner schools across various time zones, working hours may require flexibility.
- 100% remote (some travel may be required)
SALARY
$72,000.00 (with benefits)
