POSITION SUMMARY
NBSS seeks an Assistant Director of Community Education (CE) to play a key role in supporting the department’s programs and operations. This position provides essential administrative and logistical support across all CE offerings, with a particular focus on managing the existing Teen Craft & Trade Intensive program. The Assistant Director will also collaborate with the Director of Community Education on designing and launching new initiatives that strengthen our mission and community reach.
This position reports to the Director of Community Education and works closely with colleagues across the school. Key collaborators include the Community Education Shop Technician, CE instructors, and teaching assistants.
This is a full-time, exempt position with a Monday–Friday schedule, including occasional evening and weekend responsibilities. The role is hybrid, with four days on-site and one day remote. PAY RANGE:
$68,000 to $71,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
