At Village Home, our instructors create engaging, innovative learning experiences primarily for learners homeschooling, unschooling, or enrolled in online charters. If you’re ready to make an impact, we’d love for you to join our team of enthusiastic instructors!

- Creative Freedom: Design classes based on your passions and the interests of learners.

- Supportive Environment: Focus on sparking curiosity instead of grading—our classes are test-free and grade-free.
- Small Class Sizes: Average of 12 learners per class, with a maximum of 16.
Class Format
- Classes are typically 1 hour per week, with some longer sessions for older learners.
- Sessions typically run Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm.
- Mixed-age classes
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $25–$35 per class hour, plus prep time at a prep rate for each instructional hour.
- Benefits: Paid time off, Oregon Saves retirement program, and tuition discounts for your children based on your teaching schedule.
