Director - U.S. Operations

About the position: Make a Miracle seeks a mission-driven, highly organized Director to oversee U.S. operations, administration, development events, gift processing, donor relations, and trips, while coordinating closely with teams in Peru and Colombia. Reporting to the President, the Director will turn organizational priorities into measurable action, strengthen systems and accountability, support fundraising and donor engagement, and help ensure effective day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, hands-on leader with at least 5-7 years of progressively responsible management or organizational leadership experience and strong administrative, operational, project-management, and communication skills. Nonprofit leadership experience - including fundraising, donor relations, event management, CRM systems, compliance, and international trips - is preferred. Cross-cultural experience in Latin America and English-Spanish bilingual proficiency are valued but not required. Candidates must be successful at managing multiple priorities and traveling internationally approximately 2-3 times per year.

Compensation: Annual salary of $65,000–$80,000, based on experience, plus a healthcare stipend and eligibility for a performance bonus. We do not currently offer a traditional benefits package.
