    Description

    Description

Carbon bombs are the 600 biggest oil, gas and coal projects globally, which could each emit more than 1 gigatonne of CO2 over their lifetime. Defusing them is imperative to avoid runaway climate change. LINGO has been analysing UK companies and financial institutions supporting carbon bombs overseas. After identifying the UK as a major hub for carbon bombs financing, LINGO is expanding its work to the political and regulatory spaces, complementing ongoing grassroots momentum.

We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time policy advisor with a strong knowledge of UK energy policy. The policy advisor will help identify, develop and propose regulatory and political interventions for shutting down UK support for carbon bombs. Apply to LINGO if this feels like the right job for you!
