    As part of an upcoming rebrand, we are launching a new website and are seeking a copywriter to help shape clear, engaging, and thoughtful content that reflects our work.

    Role Overview

    This role will lead the writing and refinement of website content within a 4–6-week project timeline. It will involve translating complex program information into clear, compelling language while maintaining a consistent voice across the site.

    Scope of Work

      • Write and refine content for core website pages (e.g., Home, About, Programs, Services, Careers)
      • Edit and polish secondary pages (e.g., Leadership, Contact, FAQs)
      • Align content with brand voice, tone, and messaging direction
      • Simplify complex information into clear, user-friendly language
      • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input and feedback
      • Participate in a kickoff call and stakeholder interviews
      • Complete at least 2 rounds of revisions per page

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience writing website copy (portfolio or writing samples required)
    • Exceptional writing skills with a focus on clarity, tone, and precision
    • Strong editing skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and interviewing skills
    • Ability to manage feedback and deliver high-quality work within a defined timeline
    • Experience writing for mission-driven organizations (nonprofits, healthcare, education, or human services) preferred

    Nice to Have

      • Experience supporting a rebrand or website redesign
      • Experience with accessible and inclusive writing practices
      • Familiarity with SEO and web content structure
